On November 29, The Nature Conservancy in Pennsylvania and Delaware announced it has purchased 78 acres located in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, and transferred the parcel to the U.S. The Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge was established in 2008 to preserve critical habitat for migratory birds and threatened and endangered species.
