City Residents Help the Academy Map Urban Hotspots

He didn’t help much with navigation — he is a dog, after all.

The Heat of the Moment

Community scientists will map heat and air quality across the city by driving one-hour routes in the morning, afternoon and evening with heat and air quality sensors mounted to their cars. The sensors will produce detailed heat and air pollution maps that will be shared publicly to catalyze equitable solutions to these issues.
