Minnesota Can Do More to Protect People from Ethylene Oxide Emissions

EPA’s own scientists concluded in 2016 that the risk value of ethylene oxide is 60 times more toxic than previously understood. It is released into the environment as a gas and can break down in air and water. About half of the amount released is broken down in the air within 2 to 5 months.
