In China, government plans to peak and neutralise national carbon emissions, and for a wholesale green transition , have caused a boom in “green employment”. The bump may be linked to China’s commitment, made in September 2020, to reach carbon neutrality before 2060. But analysis based on wider datasets is more conservative.
