Leading up to EarthDay this year, I’ve been reflecting on the meaning and purpose of the annual celebration. EarthDay began under the Nixon Administration in 1970 as a day to support environmental protection and has grown to include nations and communities around the world in appreciation of Mother Earth.

On EarthDay Weekend April 20, ClearWater Conservancy , Centre County Refuse and Recycling Authority , and the Spring Creek Watershed MS4 Partnership hosted the 28th Annual Watershed Cleanup Day, and it was a huge success!
