The stingray was tagged with a tracking device and returned to the Mekong River, where its movements are informing conservation planning. Despite its importance, little is known about this ecosystem and the biodiversity that exists here. Hearing the news, our team members rushed to the site from Phnom Penh, the Cambodian capital.
