On March 7, the Independent Fiscal Office issued its latest Pennsylvania Electricity update that reports the electricity grid is dependent on one fuel for 59% of the state’s electricity generation-- natural gas-- followed by nuclear power-- 31.9%, coal-- 5.4% from other sources. DEP inspection report - Lot 8 32 ] On October 10, 2023 , DEP inspected two conventional gas wells-- Warren State Hospital 2 & 3 in Conewango Township, Warren County operated by William Southwell & Son Oil due to a concern about possible natural gas emission leaking into the atmosphere. No violations were issued. [
