Susquehanna River Basin Low Stream Flows Trigger SRBC Water Withdrawal Restrictions On 46 Oil & Gas Drilling Operations & Other Water Users

The Susquehanna River Basin Commission’s Hydrologic Conditions Monitor shows as of May 28 water withdrawal restrictions have been triggered for 42 oil and gas drilling and four other large water users due to very low stream conditions in Northcentral Pennsylvania. The U.S.G.S. Real-Time Water Data Map for Pennsylvania also shows very low stream conditions all over the Commonwealth.
