Two thirds of generation capacity is based on fossil fuels, split evenly between coal and natural gas, with 17% nuclear, and 14% hydro and other renewables. 50% coal, 26% gas, and 25% nuclear.

Nuclear is by no means ideal, but it is serving to bridge the gap to a zero-carbon future. Two-thirds of that supply was from rooftops and other small plants.

House Committees Hold Hearings On Hydrogen Hubs, Appliance Energy Efficiency; Consider Bills Increasing Recycling Fee, Study Solar Energy On Farms
