PUC Distributes A Record $278.8 Million In Act 13 Shale Gas Drilling Impact Fee Revenue; Conventional Oil/Gas Operators Do Not Pay These Fees

On June 20, the Public Utility Commission announced the distribution of a record $278,881,450 in Act 13 Shale Gas Drilling Impact Fee revenue to local governments and a variety of state programs. County and municipal governments directly affected by drilling will receive a total of $157,349,593 for the 2022 reporting year.
