In May 2020, the Department of Environmental Protection formally requested involvement from the EPA’s Superfund and Emergency Management Division (Removal). In Fall 2020, EPA initiated response actions intended to mitigate the threat posed to the public health and welfare due to the threatened release of hazardous substances from the Site.
