Game Changer- U.S. EPA Proposes to List PFOS and PFOA as “Hazardous Substances” Under CERCLA

Toxic Substances Control Act section 7 imminently hazardous chemical. EPA says it is targeting finalizing the rule in the Summer of 2023. Parties will have until November 7, 2022 to comment on the proposed rulemaking. It is anticipated EPA will receive a very large volume of comments on the proposed rule.
