During the four days of emergency operations during the cold snap, from early February 15th to midnight February 18th, output levels of nuclear, natural gas, coal, and wind to the grid were 79.3 In its most severe appraisal of the loss of wind capacity, ERCOT expected 8% of wind power compared to capacity.
