On March 7, 2024 , DEP did a follow-up inspection of the Anderson 1 conventional well operated by C & D Gas Co. CNX withdrew 28,192 gallons from the Southwestern PA Water Authority First Street Tap water source in Waynesburg Borough, Greene County. DEP found the well was abandoned without being plugged.
