The 2009 endangerment finding has played a foundational role in Clean Air Act regulation of GHG emissions from both mobile and stationary sources. As the court noted, the Clean Air Act only requires a finding that the air pollution at issue may reasonably be anticipated to endanger public health or welfare. 7521(a)(1).
