And if EPA finalized Option 2, nearly 30 percent of trucks sold 2027-2029 could be no better than today’s best-forming (but still dirty) diesel trucks! And Option 2 allows such dirty diesels in perpetuity—in fact, their share could even grow over time with the sale of electric trucks, an absolutely counter-productive outcome.
