Granting the Commission the power to assess and decide on the taxonomy compliance of nuclear projects would introduce political risks not faced by fossil or renewable energy activities. Recommendations The 2040 and 2045 expiry dates for investments respectively in existing and new nuclear infrastructure should be removed.
