The bill began as a ban but faced strong opposition; it now requires the Department of Pesticide Regulation to provide a reevaluation of the herbicide paraquat dichloride by January 1, 2029. I’ll be back in January with a legislative lookahead previewing what I think will becoming for the 2025 session.
