In my opinion the press conference on 9 August 2021 didn’t do justice to the vast effort that went into it. Carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) is the most important greenhouse gas that we have added to the atmosphere, however, some of it has been absorbed by land and oceans. These changes in the oceans is bad news for marine ecosystems.
