MAINE

LD 1998 establishes a state grant program to assist farmers adversely affected by drought conditions. Info here.

OKLAHOMA

SB 1325 transfers authority to administer the state’s water quality standards to the state’s Department of Environmental Quality. Info here.

SB 1737 requires all medical marijuana commercial grower licensees to register with the state’s Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry as an environmentally sensitive crop owner and requires commercial growers to display signage at the perimeter of their commercial growing operation that includes the business name, address, phone number, and medical marijuana business license number. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY

Final rule establishing exemptions from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of various fragrance components listed in unit II of this document when they are used as inert ingredients in antimicrobial pesticide formulations for use on food contact surfaces in public eating places, dairy processing equipment, and food processing equipment and utensils with end-use concentration not to exceed 100 parts per million. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE

Final rule announcing that FWS is rescinding the rule titled “Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Regulations for Designating Critical Habitat” that published on December 18, 2020, and became effective January 19, 2021. Info here.

Proposed rule announcing that FWS intends to prepare an environmental impact statement pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 to evaluate the potential environmental impacts of issuing a proposed rule requested by the State of Colorado for its reintroduction and management of the gray wolf (Canis lupus).
