Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy To Host March 8 Perkiomen Stormwater Management Symposium In Montgomery County

Join the
Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy and many of their regional partners March 8 Perkiomen Stormwater Symposium to learn about stormwater management in Montgomery County.

Discover the different methods local organizations are using to tackle stormwater issues.

Municipalities will walk away with educational materials and volunteer opportunities for their residents.

This training is also designed to be a one-stop-shop for municipal staff, covering all six MS4 Stormwater Program minimum control measures.

Learn from the Symposium’s great panel of speakers from the US Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Environmental Protection, the Montgomery County Planning Commission, the Montgomery County Conservation District, the Perkiomen Flood Study, the Center for Watershed Protection, and the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy.

The Symposium will be held on Friday, March 8th, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA.

In addition to hearing from an expert panel of speakers, Symposium attendees will also enjoy a Stormwater Poster Q&A Session during both registration and the lunch hour.

The Stormwater Symposium is the first training hosted in the Conservancy's Professional Education Series. Be on the lookout for information about our upcoming Teacher Training and the Island Field Workshop.

Visit the Perkiomen Stormwater Symposium webpage for all the details on this unique educational opportunity.
