Rumsey Quoted in Law360 on Clean Water Act Jurisdiction Rule

Environmental partner Allison Rumsey was quoted in the recent Law360 article, “Biden Administration Beats Justices To Punch With CWA Rule.” The article discusses the recent final rule broadening the Clean Water Act issued by the EPA and Army Corps of Engineers, and the implications this will have on the Supreme Court case, Sackett v. EPA.
Rumsey noted that there is an advantage to the government producing a final rule before the case concludes because waiting for a decision from the high court could have created further restrictions on what the agencies could do.
