Environmental Integrity Project, Partners List Industries Requesting Exemptions From EPA Hazardous Air Pollutant Regulations-- 23 In PA

A coalition of health, community, and environmental groups recently
released a new map showing more than 500 facilities that emit toxic or hazardous air pollution that have applied for a Presidential two-year exemption from hazardous air pollution limits.

Pennsylvania has the fourth highest number of industries applying for an exemption-- 23.  Texas is first with 99, followed by Louisiana with 54, and Ohio with 28.
