A second company has formally asked state regulators for permission to move ahead with constructing a pipeline capable of transporting for permanent storage in Illinois the carbon dioxide captured from ethanol production.
Wolf Carbon Solutions, the Canadian energy infrastructure entity with U.S. operations headquartered in Denver, on filed its Application for Certificate of Authority with the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC) June 16 to build in Illinois 166 miles of the Mt. Simon Hub Pipeline.
