Teresa Johnson, co-head of the Capital Markets practice, was quoted in the recent Bloomberg article "Tough Times for Equity Offerings Bring Back the Art of Winks and Nudges.” The story delves into the topic of investment bankers generating interest in upcoming sales of publicly traded stock through confidential conversations with potential investors, known as "crossing the wall.” 

According to Johnson, participating in this kind of information exchange can be challenging, stating that people “have to be very careful about following the script and the rules, because if you step over the line, you can easily veer into something actionable.”
