Diesel emissions in major US cities disproportionately harm communities of color, new studies confirm

Diesel vehicles represented 5 percent of traffic through the urban areas but emitted up to half of all nitrogen dioxide pollution. One solution: electrify freight trucks, school buses and other heavy-duty vehicles.
