PA Oil & Gas Industrial Facilities: Permit Notices/Opportunities To Comment - Feb. 11

The following DEP notices were published in the
February 11 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities.  Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments.

Land Recycling/Brownfield Cleanups

-- UGI Utilities - Allen Manufactured Gas Plant: DEP received Intent To Remediate soil and groundwater contaminated by volatile organic compounds, semi-volatile organic compounds, and lead in City of Allentown, Lehigh County. (PA Bulletin, Page 870)

-- UGI Utilities - Reading Holder Site: DEP received Intent To Remediate soil contaminated with arsenic and certain polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in City of Reading, Berks County. (PA Bulletin, Page 870)

-- Coterra Energy, Inc. - Warriner Well Pad 2: DEP received Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated by diesel-based drilling mud discovered on May 19, 2022 in Dimock Twp., Susquehanna County. (PA Bulletin, Page 895)

-- United Refining Company: DEP invites comments on proposed Plan Approval for gasoline loading rack at the facility in City of Warren, Warren County.  (PA Bulletin, Page 872)

-- Hazelton Generation LLC Natural Gas-Fired Power Plant: DEP invites comments on renewal of Title V air quality permit for facility in Hazle Twp., Luzerne County.  (PA Bulletin, Page 873)

-- Williams Field Services Co., LLC - Lathrop Compressor Station: DEP issued Air Quality Plan Approval for dehydrators, other equipment at the compressor station in Springville Twp., Susquehanna County. (PA Bulletin, Page 898)

-- Diversified Energy Company PLC - Electric Generator: DEP issued De Minimis Air Quality Authorization for a facility in Morris Twp., Washington County.  (PA Bulletin, Page 901)


Chapter 105 Encroachment Permits

-- Chesapeake Appalachia LLC: DEP invites comments on proposed Chapter 105 application for a waterline serving drilling pads in Burlington and West Burlington Townships, Bradford County.  (PA Bulletin, Page 879)
