In this roundtable participants will share thoughts, experiences, and inquiries regarding the advancement of DEIJ within their communities.
To properly ground our discussion, the roundtable will begin with a presentation on DEIJ terms and concepts to be given by Miica Patterson, Communications Director and Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer with Schuylkill River Greenways National Heritage Area.
Topics of conversation could include: How can EACs heighten the participation of marginalized communities and amplify their needs? How can EACs best address environmental justice issues, and what obstacles do they face when doing so?
Participants are invited to share additional questions or topics for the agenda in advance by sending an email to Carol Grayshaw cgrayshaw@weconservepa.org by May 15.
