DEP Issues RFP For Abandoned Conventional Oil & Gas Well Plugging Services On Time & Materials Basis As Needed

On May 12, the Department of Environmental Protection
issued a Request for Proposals for abandoned and orphan conventional oil and gas well plugging services on a time and materials basis as needed and directed by DEP.  Bids are due by June 26.

In general, the services to be provided under this RFP include, but may not be limited to, the following: well locating, well-site access preparation, well depth sounding, wire-line logging services, well decommissioning and plugging, and well-site reclamation.  

This contract is part of the federally-funded well plugging program.
