Montrose Environmental Group (MEG) Names Cory Davis Executive Vice President

Internationally Recognized Scientific Consultant Will Also Serve as CEO of MEG Subsidiary, CTEH

IRVINE, Calif. (Feb. 4, 2021) – Cory Davis, an internationally recognized scientific consultant, will serve as Montrose Environmental Group’s newest Executive Vice President (EVP). Davis will be EVP of Montrose and CEO of the Center for Toxicology and Environmental Health (CTEH), a Montrose subsidiary specializing in environmental emergency preparedness, response, and recovery.  He will report to Josh LeMaire, Chief Operating Officer of Montrose. Davis is succeeding Dr. Phil Goad, CEO and co-founder of CTEH who retired in January.

“For more than two decades, Cory has spearheaded CTEH’s growth into one of the nation’s leading science-based environmental response and consulting firms,” said Josh LeMaire, COO of Montrose. “Under his steady guidance, the company has expanded beyond its environmental emergency response roots to offer comprehensive environmental health and safety services to clients around the globe. Montrose is always proud to promote talent from within our ranks. Cory is a proven leader, and we are excited to have him help lead our growing team and build our culture.”

Since joining CTEH as industrial hygienist in 2000, Davis has held several leadership roles within the company, including as manager of its Toxicology Emergency Response Program for nine years. A long-time partner, he most recently served as CTEH’s senior vice president of operations and principal consultant overseeing environmental emergency response, industrial hygiene, disaster recovery, environmental innovation, and business development. Based in North Little Rock, Arkansas, Davis will now oversee CTEH’s nearly 200 employees across the U.S.

Davis is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association, and serves on the board of directors for the Spill Control Association of America and the Arkansas Game & Fish Foundation. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program. In 2018, he received UA Little Rock’s Fribourgh Award for his significant contributions to the scientific field.
