Government adopts a sector-by-sector plan to reach 2050 climate goals. The government proposes new measures to help meet the 2030 climate target, including 80% renewables by 2030. My foray into Germany climate policy left me with unanswered questions: What was the politics behind Germany’s history of climate action?

Both were eventually rejected by governments. Sometimes the industry tells on itself.

In 2023, in the middle of the most devastating fire season in Alberta on record, there was near radio silence on the subject of climate change, and what our political leaders were, or were not doing, to address the calamity. We all hope that 2024 is far less destructive than 2023.
