Norberg Featured on PLI Institute’s 'inSecurities' Podcast on Whistleblower Compliance and Investigations for Businesses

September 23, 2021

Securities and Enforcement Litigation partner Jane Norberg was featured on a recent episode of the PLI Institute's inSecurities podcast, an in-depth biweekly showcase of practitioner perspectives on changes within the securities field. The episode focuses on practical advice to companies regarding reducing risk of serious and costly whistleblower issues within a company. Norberg also reflects on the success of the Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) whistleblower program, which Norberg helped build and develop since near its inception.

During her tenure at the SEC, Norberg advised the SEC Chairman and the Director of the Division of Enforcement on emerging whistleblower issues and the development of rulemaking and policies, as well as reported to Congress regarding the program's activities and advised them on whistleblower matters. She joined the SEC in 2012 as Deputy Chief of the Office and was appointed to Chief in 2016. Norberg managed and oversaw record-breaking growth in the number of whistleblower tips received and awards issued to whistleblowers under the program. Norberg's practice at Arnold & Porter focuses on helping companies navigate and reduce risk associated with whistleblower issues, including risk assessments, training, and internal investigations.
