According to the nonprofit Surfers Against Sewage, 286 people have gotten sick after swimming or surfing in rivers or seas polluted with sewage around the United Kingdom. Since 2015, South Korea has had an emissions trading system that covers the power sector and industrial sources. 50% coal, 26% gas, and 25% nuclear. Actual generation is tilted a bit more toward fossil fuels and nuclear.
